I’ve been working with ideas for it for a while and couldn’t come up with an arrangement that i really loved. Until I tilted the flower heads forward. BAM. Game changer. I am in loveeeee with the dynamic it gives this arrangement. It also means you can pop it on one of your higher up shelves (out the reach of your kids!) and you can STILL see every flower in all its glory. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI really wanted to use flowers and colours that just screamed happiness to me. Because this moment was such a celebration of serotonin in my brain after finally figuring it out! So I’ve used beautiful spring mix frits for spiral marble flower centres, bright blues greens oranges and yellows and mixed up the translucency of the glass, using transparent, opalescent and opaque glass to give it extra depth and detail. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI hope you love her, I’m now on the hunt for lots more vases I can use these tilted flowers for instant impact!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003eChoose beauty that never fades with a gorgeous vase of handmade glass flowers.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI individually handcraft every petal of each flower from molten glass in a 1200 degree flame. Once complete each stem is fired in a kiln to 'anneal', this strengthens the glass whilst cooling it. The whole process takes around 10 hours from glass rod to beautiful bloom. Checkout the listing video to see a little more of the process.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach glass flower stem measures approximately 20cm long, with the heads of the flowers varying from 2cm-3cm depending on the style and design. Every flower is individually handmade, using stainless steel wire and molten glass. Each petal is added, one at a time, shaping the glass to create the perfect bloom before placing it into a kiln to anneal.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe stems are stainless steel, please do not attempt to trim the stems without sharp wire cutters, else the vibrations from cutting with insufficient tools may damage the petals.
